Weddings at Hill Top Inn truly reflect our bride and groom’s tastes because we understand that it really isn’t our wedding, it’s your wedding. You convey to us what you want and how you want your wedding to be, and we’ll take care of the rest. Many of our packages include everything you need for your special day – the flowers, DJ, photographer, limo, Justice of the Peace, ceremony musician, and more. If you don’t want one or more of those services, just let us know and we’ll take them right out of the package. Remember, as much as we love weddings, it's your day, not ours.

The Facility
Our 1912 summer home is steeped in tradition dating back to 1933. We are the oldest licensed restaurant in New York State. While much of the building has been upgraded and added onto throughout the years, the centerpiece is still the large stone fireplace surrounded by the original wood floor in the main dining room. There are three rooms on the main floor which seat 275 comfortably and another on the second floor which seats 50 guests of its own. Oh, and that’s only the inside. Outside there is a beautiful deck and Paddy ’O which seat another 200 guests and a beautiful terrace to seat another 200 guests. Each and every dining space overlooks the Chemung Valley, the City of Elmira, and the foothills of Pennsylvania.
Many of our brides and grooms choose to get married here right on site surrounded by our beautiful gardens and landscaped grounds. The rod-ironed, vine covered arbor is the perfect entrance into both the ceremony and reception.
The Location
As you can see from the photos, we are blessed with an amazing panoramic view. Often times that might mean a long windy travel to find such a location – but not so in this case. Just one half mile from Interstate 86, we are very easy to find yet just far enough away to offer that peaceful seclusion our guests seek. Accommodations range from the Holiday Inn which is a mere 45 second drive from our front door to over 15 locations within just 10 minutes away. Elmira is also home to its own airport (Elmira Corning Airport) which is serviced by US Airways, Continental, and Northwest. You’ll find the convenience for you and your guests very welcoming and something that we feel is very important to consider when you have so many guests coming from out of the area.
